Spirituality Centre: much more than a hotel!

A House, a point of arrival and departure for those seeking the truth of their lives in the footsteps of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. A story that begins with a very strong spiritual relationship: that of a young seminarian suffering from tuberculosis, who climbs the Gargano mountains to meet a "friar who performs miracles."

And the miracle actually takes place! In the body an amazing healing and in the soul an indissoluble bond still alive and life-giving today. Padre Pio entrusts young Fr. Pierino Galeone, then a seminarian, with the task of gathering many people to continue his mission: to associate with the crucified and risen Jesus for the salvation of the world. Thus was born the Secular Institute Servants of Suffering, now spread throughout the world! Men and women, lay people and priests, families living every day the joy of belonging to the Lord.

And then the dream of a house to welcome pilgrims... A house that will rise on land indicated by Padre Pio from the veranda of the convent. Long years have passed since that day, years steeped in obstacles and faith in that word. In 2003 finally the inauguration of the Centro di Spiritualità Padre Pio, a place to find peace of heart, the right relationship with God, the quality of relationships, the beauty of one's life under the banner of the holiness and spirituality of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.
