The last Saturday of April, the feast of our Lady Crowned, is a great holiday: the dark-faced Madonna attracts lots of pilgrims from all over Italy and the world: the sign of such a strong maternity remains, because it is tormented and capable of overcoming the boundary of skin color and the insidious temptation of a desecrating mentality.
